Artak Sargsyan

Artak Sargsyan has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Artak is currently the Chief Loan Officer at Ameriabank CJSC, starting in December 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Loan Officer at the same company from December 2021 to December 2022 and served as a Loan Officer from April 2020 to December 2021.

Before joining Ameriabank CJSC, Artak worked at ARARATBANK OJSC as a Credit Analyst from June 2019 to April 2020 and as a Credit Specialist from March 2017 to June 2019.

Artak also has experience in academia, having worked as a Lecturer at the French University of Armenia from September 2017 to May 2019 and at EUROPEAN REGIONAL ACADEMY from October 2008 to May 2019. At EUROPEAN REGIONAL ACADEMY, they also held the position of Head of Chair of Economics from September 2008 to September 2014.

Artak's other work experiences include being a Corporate Sales Officer at Export oil llc from October 2014 to March 2017 and serving as the Head of Economic Analysis and Planning Division at NIASH LLC from September 2012 to October 2014.

Artak started their career as an Economist at the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, where they worked from February 2004 to September 2008.

Artak Sargsyan began their education at Yerevan N 112 school from 1986 to 1996, where they did not receive any degree or focus of study. Artak then went on to enroll at the Armenian State University of Economics from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Continuing their academic journey, Sargsyan attended Yerevan State University from 2005 to 2008, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Economics.
