Hasmik Karapetyan began their work experience in 2015 as a Retail Sales Specialist at Rostelecom Armenia, where they worked until 2018. In 2018, they joined Ameriabank CJSC as a Broker at the Trading Department, where they continue to work.
Hasmik Karapetyan obtained a Bachelor of Philology degree in Italian Language and Literature from Yerevan State University between 2010 and 2014. In 2014, they also received a Diploma in Italian Studies from Università per Stranieri di Perugia. Furthermore, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance at Armenian State University of Economics.
