Serine Fljyan

Serine Fljyan has extensive work experience in the field of internal auditing. Serine is currently serving as the Vice President at the Institut of internal Auditors-Armenia since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Internal Auditor at Ameriabank CJSC, starting from November 2021. Serine also worked as an Internal Audit Senior at Ameriabank from April 2019 until November 2021.

Serine has also held various roles with The Institute of Internal Auditors-Armenia, including serving as a Board Member from November 2019 until January 2022. Serine has also worked as the Head of Quality Assurance and Innovations Unit at IDBank from October 2018 to December 2018.

Earlier in their career, Serine served as the Head Of Internal Audit Department at the Center for Agribusiness and Rural Development (CARD) from May 2017 to September 2018. Serine was also an Internal Auditor at Ardshinbank CJSC from December 2016 to May 2017.

Before joining Ardshinbank, Serine worked at ProCredit Bank in various capacities. Serine served as an Internal Auditor from April 2014 to December 2016, a Senior Credit Back office Specialist from May 2012 to April 2014, and a Credit Back officer from July 2008 to May 2012.

Serine Fljyan, CIA has a strong educational background in finance, accounting, and audit. Serine first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the French University of Armenia, which they completed between 2002 and 2006. Building on their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, and Audit from the same university, completing it between 2006 and 2008.

In addition to their academic achievements, Serine Fljyan has obtained several certifications that enhance their expertise in the field. These certifications include the License of Internal Auditor from the Central Bank of Armenia, which they acquired in May 2016. Serine also obtained the CIA certification, with Part 1 - Internal Audit Basics completed in July 2015 and Part 2 - Internal Audit Practice completed in April 2016. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to professional development and their desire to expand their knowledge and skills in auditing and finance.
