Vahagn Saghatelyan

Vahagn Saghatelyan, PhD has a diverse work experience in the financial and educational sectors. From 2006 to 2008, they worked as an Assistant Lecturer at Saint-Petersburg State University. In 2009, they joined Yerevan State University as an Assistant Professor and held this role until September 2022. Vahagn also worked as an Adjunct Lecturer at the American University of Armenia from January 2018 to June 2018.

In terms of their finance career, Vahagn Saghatelyan was employed by Ameriabank CJSC. Vahagn initially started in 2013 as a Market Risk Specialist and held this position until 2016. Vahagn then became the Chief Financial Risk Specialist and Head of the Financial Risk Management (FRM) group at Ameriabank CJSC, a role they held until 2018. In 2019, they returned to Ameriabank CJSC as the Head of Financial Risk and Modeling Service.

Vahagn Saghatelyan, PhD, completed their Master's degree in Mathematics, Probability and Statistics from Yerevan State University in an unspecified year prior to 2005. Following this, they pursued a PhD in Mathematical Statistics and Probability at Saint Petersburg State University, which they successfully obtained in the period from 2005 to 2009.
