Tom Fenstermaker is an experienced communications professional in the field of athletics, currently serving as the Director of Communications for the American Athletic Conference since August 2019. American Athletic Conference

The American Athletic Conference (The American), a member of the NCAA, was reconstituted in 2013. With the conference office in Irving, Texas, The American is comprised of the following institutions: UAB, Army West Point (in football only), Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, Navy (in football only), North Texas, Rice, South Florida, Temple, UTSA, Tulane, Tulsa and Wichita State (basketball and Olympic sports).
