Ben Dimit

Ben Dimit is an experienced professional with a diverse background in the technology industry. Ben is currently working as a Cloud Engineer at American Equity since May 2022. Prior to this, in June 2021, they founded Crit Forge LLC and served as its CEO.

Ben has also gained valuable experience working as a Software Developer at the Multi-State Lottery Association from March 2019 to May 2022. Before that, they worked at Principal Financial Group as an Application Developer from May 2014 to March 2019. In this role, they were responsible for C# programming, software updates, scripting automation, and providing software support.

In 2013, Ben had an internship opportunity at Vermeer Manufacturing where they gained experience in programming with C#, upgrading databases, and updating SQL queries. Ben also had two software development internships at Vermeer Corporation that same year.

To kickstart their career, Ben began working at KFC as an FSTM from April 2009 to November 2012.

Ben Dimit attended Simpson College from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science, with a focus on Computer Information Systems. Ben also pursued a minor in Math during their time at the college. Prior to enrolling in Simpson College, Ben took courses at Des Moines Area Community College during their high school years, although specific dates and degrees earned are unavailable for this period.
