Eric Ulan is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Currently serving as a Senior Actuary at American Equity since May 2023, prior roles include Director of Inforce Product Management at Athene USA from April 2016 to May 2023, and Associate Actuary at Transamerica from June 2011 to April 2016, where responsibilities included managing the Annuity ALM Analytics team. Earlier experience includes positions at Principal Financial Group, where Eric worked on various life insurance and group life pricing projects, as well as internship roles at AEGON and AmerUs Group focused on BOLI/COLI products and annuity product management. Eric holds an MBA in Finance and a BSBA in Actuarial Science and Finance from Drake University.
