Arijit Ray

Arijit Ray serves as Vice President of Human Resources at American Express, having progressed from Director of Human Resources and Service Delivery Leader for Global Employee & Labor Relations. In this role, Arijit oversees employee relations and compliance, specializing in Indian employment legislation and data privacy management. Previously, Arijit held various HR leadership positions at Genpact India and Genpact USA, where responsibilities included managing a large banking vertical and consulting on HR processes for investment banks. Arijit’s career began at Wipro, with significant expertise developed in HR, operations, and training over more than 17 years. Educational qualifications include a PG in HR from XLRI Jamshedpur, a PGDGM in HR & Law from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, and certifications from Harvard Business School and Robert Gordon University.
