Edward Scheuermann

Edward Scheuermann is the Vice President and Senior M&A Counsel at American Express, a position held since 2018. Previously, Edward served as M&A Counsel at American Express from 2016 to 2018, earning the GCO General Excellence Award in 2017. Prior to that, Edward was the VP, Corporate Counsel & Secretary at Polo Ralph Lauren from 2001 to 2006, where they acted as the sole internal corporate law advisor. Edward's legal career began at Axiom, where they worked from 2006 to 2016 in the Corporate and Securities Group. Edward earned a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an A.B. from Columbia College.
