James Beatty

James Beatty, CFA, is a Director of Operational Risk with expertise in ops risk modeling and over a decade of experience in financial risk management. Currently, James serves as the Director of CCAR Operational Risk Execution Lead at American Express, following a previous role at Citi where they managed operational risk stress loss forecasts and developed critical models for regulatory compliance. James holds a Master of Science in Risk Management from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Management Science with a concentration in Finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to these roles, James gained valuable experience at KPMG US, E*TRADE, and other organizations within the financial sector.
