Mark Wallis

Mark Wallis is a seasoned Financial Services professional with over fifteen years of experience in banking and compliance. Currently serving as the Compliance Director for International Insurance at American Express since 2025, Mark leads a team responsible for compliance oversight across fourteen markets worldwide. Previously, Mark held various roles, including Compliance Manager and Data Protection Officer at Atom bank, and Senior Manager of Regulatory and Conduct Advisory at Tesco Insurance and Money Services. Mark began their career with positions at Brewin Dolphin, Womble Bond Dickinson (UK) LLP, and Deloitte, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial crime policy and compliance analysis. Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Studies from Northumbria University, completed in 2009.
