Surinder Singh

Surinder Singh has extensive experience in process management and risk reduction, currently serving as the Manager of Process Risk Reduction at American Express since March 2025, where the focus is on strengthening finance processes and mitigating operational risks. Previously, Surinder spent over 18 years at Capital One in various roles, including Process Manager, where expertise in process optimization using Lean Six Sigma and Agile methodologies resulted in significant performance improvements. Additional roles included Project Manager/Business Analyst and Product Owner, emphasizing strategic process re-engineering and business-technology alignment. Earlier in Surinder's career, leadership as Item Processing Manager at Independence Community Bank led to substantial cost savings and efficiency gains. Surinder holds an MBA in Management from LIU Brooklyn and a B.S. in Psychology with a Minor in Finance from the City University of New York-College of Staten Island.
