Ted Hackman

Ted Hackman has extensive experience in technology engineering and risk management, currently serving as VP of Global Risk and Compliance Technology at American Express since March 2001. In this role, responsibilities include overseeing technology for anti-money laundering investigations, privacy, risk data engineering, and internal audits. Hackman has also held positions such as VP of Financial Data Engineering and DevOps Capabilities, where leadership of the DevOps Engineering team focused on test and release automation. Additional previous roles include Director of Regulatory Risk Data Engineering and Platform Development Manager for Risk Data Warehouse. Prior to American Express, Hackman worked as a Systems Administrator at Debt-Free America from December 1999 to May 2001. Ted Hackman earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Business and Sociology from Arizona State University.
