Jake Simon

Director, Southwest Urban Forestry at American Forests

Jake Simon currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Southwest Urban Forestry at American Forests, where responsibilities include the development and management of the Tree Equity change model and leading citywide reforestation efforts in Phoenix, AZ. In addition, Jake holds leadership positions as Chairman of the Business Partnerships Committee and Co-Chair of the Municipalities Committee within the Phoenix Metro Urban Forestry Roundtable, a coalition of over 50 partners. Previous experience includes roles such as Director of Forest Management at Better Place Forests, where Jake oversaw forest management across nine sites, and various positions at Davey Tree Surgery, including General Foreman and Project Manager, focused on utility vegetation management. Jake holds a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from Northern Arizona University.
