Britton Ward

Britton Ward is a seasoned professional in naval architecture and marine engineering, currently serving as Hull Development Lead for American Magic in preparation for the 37th America's Cup since November 2021. With an extensive career, Britton holds the position of Vice President at Farr Yacht Design since August 1996 and has been Principal at Mode 3 Design since January 2017. Previously, Britton worked as a Senior Naval Architect at Oracle BMW Racing from 2000 to 2007, contributing to projects during the 2003 America's Cup Challenger. Britton earned a Master of Science in Ocean Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1995 to 1996 and a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Webb Institute from 1991 to 1995.
