Eric Vorst

Eric Vorst, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and program management within the defense sector. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer at AMERICAN SYSTEMS, Vorst manages combat systems and interoperability testing for the LHA(R) Program. Previous roles include Project Financial Controller at BMT, where financial oversight for a $40M Army amphibious craft program was a focus, and multiple positions at AMERICAN SYSTEMS leading amphibious ship testing and cybersecurity initiatives. Vorst has also served as Program Manager at Sayres and Associates, overseeing Navy contracts and staff development, and held roles in business development and project management at Lockheed Martin, TMA Corporation, PRC Inc., and as a Surface Warfare Officer in the U.S. Navy. Vorst earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
