Robert Gilbert

Robert Gilbert currently serves as Program Support Lead at AMERICAN SYSTEMS since February 2022. Prior to this role, Robert held the position of Business Development Director at General Dynamics Information Technology from September 2012 to February 2022, focusing on enhancing operations for Homeland Security organizations through various services and solutions. Robert's governmental experience includes serving as Attaché to the Government of Mexico for the Department of Homeland Security, acting as a key diplomat in promoting Homeland Security interests and coordinating border law enforcement efforts. Additionally, Robert has extensive experience with the US Border Patrol, where roles included Chief Patrol Agent overseeing significant enforcement operations along the Arizona/Sonora and Texas-New Mexico/Chihuahua borders, as well as program management along the United States/Canadian border.
