American Theater Group, founded in 2012, produces new and classic works primarily by American playwrights. The company performs in residence at Hamilton Stage in Rahway and the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge, NJ and emphasizes the development of new works and the rediscovery of undeservedly neglected older ones. ATG also focuses on offering quality arts-in-education initiatives,  with playwriting programs such as its PlayLab for BIPOC and queer artists and New Works/New Voices for aspiring high school playwrights.
