Americanwine.dk is owned by Anne Aamot who developed her passion for American wine during her studies in the USA. The company was founded in 1978 by Keld Johnsen who started his import of wine while running the restaurant at the American embassy in Copenhagen.

Americanwine.dk is one of the leading American wine distributers in Denmark, and we have more than 300 different wines, from 10 different states. We only sell wine from the US which is the fourth largest wine producer in the world. At Americanwine.dk we are all wine” nerds” ready to tell you the story about the American” wine revolution”. We focus on selling well balanced and elegant wines from winemakers with often a deep commitment to Sustainable Farming, according to local commitments.
