Cornelia Brefka

Cornelia Brefka has a diverse work experience, with a strong focus on fundraising and institutional relations. From 2017 onwards, they worked at Americares as the Director of Strategic Partnerships, responsible for raising funds for Americares programs. Before that, they held the position of Associate Director of Institutional Relations, where they raised funds from independent foundations and managed donor relations. Prior to their role as Associate Director, they worked as a Development Officer and Grant Writer for Americares. In addition, Cornelia worked at Just Books as an Author Event Coordinator and Sales Associate. Their work experience spans from 2004 to the present.

Cornelia Brefka attended Colby College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. Cornelia also attended Kent School but did not obtain a degree or specify a field of study.
