Americas Home Place was founded in 1972 by CEO Barry Conner. 

Following the Principles Over Profit philosophy of other successful business leaders, Mr. Conner believed that if you provided customers a quality built home, at a better price, and treated customers with respect always following good, honest principles, the business would be successful.

Now, almost five decades later, Americas Home Place is among the largest independent custom home builders in the country. America's Home Place has 46 Building Centers building in 11 states. America's Home Place continues to expand to serve the growing need for quality, custom homes at affordable prices. 

Today, as a leader in the custom home building industry, America's Home Place adheres to Mr. Conner's original philosophy, reflected in the hard work and attention to customer satisfaction by its 475 employees and over 4,000 trade partners.
