Alex Phillips

Alex Phillips is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in operations and automation management. Currently serving as the Senior Automation Operations Manager at Americold Logistics, LLC., Alex leads an innovative automated cold storage case pick distribution site. Previous roles include Vice President of Operations at ProFast, Inc. and Director of Operations at AmpliSource, where Alex drove the transition from family to private equity ownership while implementing automated solutions for material handling. Alex has also held leadership positions at MUSSER PARK CIVIC ASSOCIATION, Fabral, and Armstrong World Industries, overseeing teams and optimizing production processes. In addition to a solid operational foundation, Alex served as a Company Commander and 1st Lieutenant in the US Army, leading troops during deployments. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management and Operations from Michigan Technological University.
