Nick Murphy

Nick Murphy has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources and consulting. Nick is currently working as the Vice President of Human Resources at Americold Logistics, LLC., a position they started in June 2022. Prior to this, they worked at DON KRC as a Transformation Manager from January 2021 to June 2022, and as a People & Performance Manager - Operations & Supply Chain from July 2018 to January 2021.

Before their time at DON KRC, Nick Murphy founded and worked as the Director and Principal Consultant at NJM Consulting from January 2016 to June 2022. Nick provided various consulting and advisory services encompassing strategy development, human resources, organizational effectiveness, program management, coaching, and operations excellence.

Nick also gained experience at Deloitte Australia as a Director in the Consulting team, with a focus on organizational effectiveness, human capital, strategy, disruptive technology, and commercialization in 2015. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate Director at The Lonsdale Group from June 2012 to February 2015, where they provided advisory and consulting expertise in organizational development, strategy development, change management, business improvement, commercialization, and stakeholder engagement.

Before their roles at The Lonsdale Group, Nick Murphy held the position of Director & Principal Consultant at NJM Consulting from November 2011 to April 2012. Nick worked on diverse consulting assignments in sectors such as sports management, resources, FMCG, government, healthcare, and utilities, focusing on change management, HR strategy development, and action plans.

Their earlier experiences include being the Head of HR Operations ANZ at Kraft Foods Group from April 2010 to November 2011, and a GM of Human Resources at Visy Industries for both Visy Packaging and Visy Beverage from April 2006 to March 2010. Additionally, they served as the GM of Human Resources at PMP Limited from June 2003 to November 2005, and held roles as HR Director and HR Systems Manager at Norske Skog from January 2001 to June 2003.

Nick Murphy attended Monash University from 1988 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Economics degree with a focus on Economics and Politics.
