Sam Schuth is an experienced professional in national and community service, currently serving as Area Manager at the Corporation for National and Community Service since December 1996, overseeing offices in fourteen states and supporting a significant number of VISTA members and Senior Corps volunteers with a substantial annual budget. Previously, Sam held the position of Director for the Minnesota office, and served as a Program Officer, developing national service projects and enhancing project effectiveness. Prior experience includes working as Program Manager for Global Volunteers, managing international service projects, and serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where Sam implemented a rural radio network in Liberia. Early career experience includes reporting for Minnesota Public Radio, focusing on political and labor issues. Sam holds a Master of Arts in Public Affairs with a concentration in Economic and Community Development from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs.
