Zayra Shmuels

Zayra Shmuels is a seasoned healthcare professional with extensive experience in clinical management and nursing. Currently serving as the UM Manager of Clinical Services at AmeriHealth Administrators since December 2014, Zayra has held significant roles in utilization management and care coordination at various organizations, including Prestige Health Choice and Tenet Healthcare. Zayra began in healthcare as a Registered Nurse and has progressed through positions in management and supervision, demonstrating a strong foundation in nursing and clinical care. Zayra holds a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University and multiple nursing qualifications, including a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Florida International University and an Associate of Science from Miami Dade College, as well as certification in healthcare and quality management from the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physician.
