Michael Drake

Michael Drake has held various leadership roles in finance throughout their career. Michael began their career as a Contract Operations Assistant at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in 2007 before moving on to work as a Financial Underwriter and then a Senior Financial Analyst at Coventry Health Care from 2008 to 2014. Michael then joined Aetna as a Financial Manager for their Medicaid health plans before transitioning to Evolent Health in 2014. At Evolent Health, they held roles including Associate Director, Director, Senior Director, and Managing Director of Strategic Finance, where they played a pivotal role in financial operations and various M&A diligence efforts. In 2020, Michael joined Commonwealth Care Alliance as a Vice President, serving in roles such as Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis and Vice President of Market Finance. Most recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Corporate Finance at AmeriHealth Caritas since 2023. Throughout their career, Michael has been responsible for managing financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic financial guidance for health care organizations.

Michael Drake completed their Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Market Research from Susquehanna University from 2003 to 2007. Michael later pursued a Master's of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business at Loyola University Maryland from 2010 to 2012.
