Michael Jefferys

Michael Jefferys, MBA, PMP has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years in various roles related to information technology, project management, and business analysis. Michael is currently working at AmeriHealth Caritas as an IT Director, leading the Population Health Management Applications team. Prior to this role, they served as the Manager of IS Medical Management Applications at AmeriHealth Caritas and was responsible for ensuring technological solutions met business needs and requirements.

Michael also has experience at EP Henry Corporation, where they worked as a Senior Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager, leading projects involving corporate-wide or department-specific applications and databases. At Healthfirst, they held the position of Manager of Business Analysis, managing and developing a team of business analysts and overseeing programs in the Customer Services Portfolio. Michael also worked as a Business Systems Analyst at Genesis, where they played a key role in the implementation of a new clinical services tracking and billing application.

Michael began their career at ChristianaCare as a Systems Analyst. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong skills in project management, vendor management, business process analysis, data analysis, and team management.

Michael Jefferys, MBA, PMP has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Camden, obtained from 1997 to 2001. Michael then pursued a Master of Business Administration degree with a Financial Management Concentration from Goldey-Beacom College, completed from 2003 to 2006. Michael also holds a Project Management Professional certification from Summitt Solutions Corporation in 2012 and a Leadership Development certification from the American Management Association in 2010. Additionally, they have obtained the Leadership LINC certification from Dale Carnegie Training in 2018. Furthermore, Michael has acquired several additional certifications, including Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence for Project Managers, IT Security Foundations: Core Concepts, TOGAF 9 Certified, and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
