Sandy Potter, LCSW, MBA has a diverse and extensive work experience.

Starting with their most recent position, Sandy is currently serving as the Vice President of Behavioral Health Strategy and Outcomes at AmeriHealth Caritas since September 2022.

Sandy's earlier work experience includes serving as the Clinical Systems Director at Dallas Metrocare Svc from 1997 to 2001, the Dallas Psychiatric Intensive Care - Program Director at Timberlawn Hospital from 1995 to 1997, and as a Probation Officer at Dallas County from 1990 to 1995.

Lastly, Sandy started their career as a Caseworker/Residential Supervisor at COLLIN COUNTY MHMR DBA LIFEPATH from 1985 to 1989.

Currently, Sandy is pursuing a Postgraduate Certification in Veterinary Social Work from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which will be completed in 2024. Additionally, in 2022, Sandy obtained a Postgraduate Certification in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy from the INTEGRATIVE PSYCHIATRY INSTITUTE. Furthermore, Sandy holds several licenses and certifications, including Licensed Clinical Social Worker obtained from the New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department in 2022, Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Supervisor obtained from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council - Board of Social Work Examiners in June 2000, and Licensed Sex Offender Treatment Provider - Supervisor obtained from Texas Health and Human Services in September 2000.
