Sheena Cherian

Sheena Cherian, PharmD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of pharmacy. Sheena started their career as a Staff Pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy in 2007, where they worked until 2010. Sheena then joined PerformRx in 2008 and held several positions including Clinical Pharmacist, Prior Authorization, Clinical Pharmacist, Formulary Management/Drug Utilization Review, Clinical Pharmacist, Drug Therapy Management, and Manager of Drug Therapy Management. Sheena worked at PerformRx until 2018. After that, Sheena joined AmeriHealth Caritas in 2018 as the Director of Clinical Solutions. Sheena was later promoted to the role of Director, Corporate Pharmacy in 2020 and then Vice President, Pharmacy Programs in 2023, where they currently work.

Sheena Cherian, PharmD obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Sheena has also obtained additional certifications, including "Leading Effective Decision-Making" from the Yale School of Management and "Fellow, Academy for Healthcare Management" from America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP). Sheena has also completed the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training.
