Greg Bender is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as AVP of Technology at AmeriSave Mortgage Corporation since November 2020, Greg has held progressive roles including Senior Director of Technology and Software Engineering Manager. Prior to this, Greg was a Solution Lead at Paychex, leading a team in designing and launching the Real Time Payment offering, utilizing technologies such as Spring Boot and OpenShift Microservices. Greg spent over 15 years at Thomson Reuters as a Lead Software Engineer, where responsibilities included the technical leadership of large-scale legal editorial tools, employing Agile methodologies and modern technologies like Java and AWS. Greg's early career included software development roles at Xerox, Rochester Institute of Technology, Excellus BCBS, and SPSmedical Supply Corporation. Greg holds a BS in Computer Science from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Mini MBA Certification from the University of St. Thomas.
