Frank Demers

Frank Demers, M.S., ARM, CAWC, currently serves as a Loss Control Consultant at AmeriTrust Group, Inc. since October 2022. With a robust background in public safety and risk management, Demers previously held the position of Director of Public Safety for the City of Farmington, Michigan from December 1995 to January 2021, and Director of Loss Control & Risk Management at Sterling Insurance Group from May 2022 to October 2022. An educational contributor, Demers was an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice at Ferris State University from 2014 to May 2022 and worked as a Workplace Safety Representative for the Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration (MIOSHA) from January 2021 to May 2022. Demers holds a Master of Science in Technology Studies with a focus on Homeland Security & Emergency Management from Eastern Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Adrian College, among other certifications and credentials.
