Charles Dempsey

Charles Dempsey, GSP, currently serves as Project Safety Manager at Ames Construction since June 2023. Prior to this role, Charles was the President of the American Society of Safety Professionals from August 2022 to June 2023 and worked as a Risk Control Consultant at Gallagher for a brief period in 2022. Charles has relevant experience in environmental health and safety from a role at Associated Electric Cooperative Inc., where responsibilities included conducting PPE assessments and corporate safety audits. Charles also has experience in team management and event coordination from earlier positions with Lotawawana and the Kansas City Mavericks. Charles holds a degree in Occupational Safety Management with a focus on Loss Control and Construction from the University of Central Missouri, completed in 2023.
