Darrell Chambers

Darrell Chambers is an experienced civil engineer with a comprehensive background in design coordination and traffic engineering. Currently serving as the Design Coordinator at Ames Construction since January 2021, Darrell previously held the position of Traffic Control Engineer at Flatiron Construction, managing traffic engineering for the Harbor Bridge Project. With a robust history at CH2M HILL, Darrell oversaw engineering activities during construction on the MoPac Improvement Project, serving in various roles such as Services During Construction Manager and Roadway Design Manager. Additional roles include Senior Design Manager at Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc., and Project Manager at Tedsi Infrastructure Group. Darrell began the professional journey as a Designer at HDR and TxDOT, following an early career as a Survey Tech. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
