Jill Lafferty

Jill Lafferty is a seasoned professional in writing and editing with extensive experience in various editorial roles. Currently serving as a Senior Writer at Ames Construction since September 2021, Lafferty previously held multiple positions at the Industrial Fabrics Association International from February 2009 to September 2021, including Senior Editor and Associate Editor for Specialty Fabrics Review and Senior Editor and Editor for InTents magazine, a publication focused on the event tent industry. As a Freelance Editor and Writer from January 2003 to February 2019, Lafferty also worked as an Assistant Managing Editor/Production Editor at Augsburg Fortress Publishers and as a News Reporter at Ottumwa Courier earlier in her career. Lafferty holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts (Journalism) from Wartburg College, obtained in 1993.
