Lee J. Jones brings over 25 years of heavy civil construction experience and 17 years dedicated to safety management. Currently serving as a Project Safety Manager at Ames Construction since June 2012, Lee is focused on the expansion project at the Silverbell mine complex near Tucson. In addition to this role, Lee has been an Apprenticeship Program Instructor for the Heavy Equipment Operator program with the Arizona Chapter of the Associated General Contractors since 2001. Previously, Lee held positions as Site Safety & Health Officer and Quality Control Supervisor at Hunter Contracting Co. from November 2006 to 2012 and has also worked as Safety Director/Project Superintendent at various civil construction firms from 1989 to 2006. Lee's extensive background includes oversight of workman's compensation and safety training. Education includes attendance at a community college from 1977 to 1980.
