Pete Schexnayder

Pete Schexnayder is an experienced Senior Project Manager currently at Ames Construction since February 2024. Previously, Pete held the position of Project Manager at Granite Construction from 2018 to February 2024, managing significant projects such as the $165 million, 108-foot-tall earthen embankment dam and the $317 million Kosciuszko Bridge Replacement in New York. Earlier career roles include Project Manager and Project Director at The Walsh Group, overseeing a variety of high-value rehabilitation and construction projects, including the $200 million I-95 Moses Wheeler Bridge and the $415 million Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge. With additional project experience across multiple states and a strong foundation in construction engineering from Arizona State University, Pete has successfully contributed to numerous large-scale infrastructure developments.
