John Watson

John Watson is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in information technology operations and management. Currently serving as Corporate Director of IT Operations and Architecture at AMETEK since June 2022, John has progressed through various leadership roles, including Sr. Manager of Corporate Data Centers and Emerging Technologies and Director of Information Technology for AMETEK's EMT and CAMECA Business Units. Prior to joining AMETEK, John held significant positions at CAMECA, including Business Unit IT Director and IT Manager, and served as IT Manager at Imago Scientific Instruments. John started his career as an Information Processing Consultant at the University of Wisconsin's General Library System. John holds an MBA in Information Technology Governance and Project Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a BBA in Information Systems Analysis and Design from the Wisconsin School of Business.
