Leon Mol has extensive experience in product safety, sustainability, and agronomy, serving in various leadership roles since July 2013 at Ahold Delhaize, including Director of Global Product Safety, Director of Biodiversity & Product Sustainability, and Senior Manager of Product Integrity. In addition, Leon has been involved with GLOBALG.A.P. as Vice Chairman of the Board since April 2013, and has served as Chairman of the Board at amfori since March 2023. Previous positions include member of the Executive Committee at SAI Platform, board member at the Global Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, and roles in agronomy and management at ICASS, Breeders Trust NV, and Meijer International B.V. Leon Mol holds a PhD in Agronomy, with a specialization in Phytopathology, from Wageningen University & Research.
