Amro Essmat

Amro Essmat is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance and management, currently serving as the Director and Regional Quality Head for Turkey, Middle East, and Africa at Amgen since November 2017. Prior to this role, Amro held the position of Quality Senior Manager for the Middle East and Africa at Amgen, focusing on quality oversight across the supply chain and managing distributor relationships in 17 markets. Amro's career at UNIPHARMA includes roles as Quality Director and Deputy Factory Manager, overseeing ISO systems and ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and various quality standards. Amro holds an MBA in Operation Management from The American University in Cairo and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Cairo University.
