Andy Itsara

Andy Itsara is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist currently serving as the Medical Director in Early Development at Amgen. They completed a combined MD/PhD at the University of Washington, focusing on population genetics and producing several first-author publications. Andy completed their internal medicine residency at the University of Washington and a clinical fellowship in hematology/oncology at the National Institutes of Health, where they conducted research on diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. Prior to their current role, Andy worked as a Hematology/Oncology Physician at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute and held various positions at the National Cancer Institute.
