Austin Maxwell

Austin Maxwell currently serves as a Thought Leader Liaison at Amgen, with previous experience as a Strategic Marketing Liaison at Horizon and an Area Sales Director at EVERSANA. Maxwell holds the position of City Councilmember for Murfreesboro, elected in September 2022. A veteran of the Army National Guard, Maxwell retired after 28 years of service, having held various leadership roles, including Battalion Commander and Brigade Fire Support Coordinator. Career achievements also include significant positions at Biogen, Diplomat, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, contributing to sales, training, and team leadership. Austin Maxwell holds an MBA from Middle Tennessee State University, a BBA from the University of Tennessee, a diploma from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and a marketing certificate from Cornell University.
