Brandon Malone, PhD, is a research scientist with extensive experience in molecular biology and carcinogenesis. Currently employed at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Brandon focuses on the role of tankyrase 2 in epithelial cancers and developing selective inhibitors to target tumorigenic WNT signaling. Previous roles include a graduate research fellowship at The Rockefeller University, where Brandon investigated SARS-CoV-2 replication, and a research internship at the Institut Pasteur centered on protein-protein interactions during V(D)J recombination. Brandon also participated in various iGEM projects, including the development of biosensors and vaccine delivery platforms, and began a position as a senior scientist at Amgen in July 2025. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from University College Cork and a PhD in Structural Biology from The Rockefeller University, achieving a 4.0 GPA and first-class honors.
