Candida Toribio

Candida Toribio, MBS, is an experienced regulatory project manager currently serving as a Senior Associate at Gilead Sciences since November 2022. With previous roles at Gilead Sciences and the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Candida has developed expertise in project management and scientific programs. Prior to these positions, Candida held various research-related roles, including Research Associate II at City of Hope and Research Specialist II at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, focusing on stem cell culture and molecular biology techniques. Candida obtained a Master's degree in Business and Science from Keck Graduate Institute and holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Whittier College. Additional training includes hands-on experience in human pluripotent stem cell techniques and ABA interventions for children with special needs.
