Carlo Bailey

Carlo Bailey is a seasoned professional in data science with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at Amgen since October 2025, Carlo previously held the position of Senior Manager of Data Science at Intuit and led the data science teams at VTS as Head of Data Science, AI/ML. Carlo has a strong background in machine learning, having designed and implemented production-level pipelines that significantly automated core data processes and achieved substantial cost reductions. In academia, Carlo is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University, teaching graduate courses on geospatial analytics and statistical modeling. Past positions include Lead Data Scientist at Topos, where a collaborative filtering recommendation system was developed, and Senior Researcher at WeWork, focusing on predictive modeling for space usage.
