Catherine R. is an experienced Molecular Biologist and Biochemist with a strong background in quality control and validation engineering within the biopharmaceutical industry. Catherine's career began at Amgen, where roles included QC Associate and Senior Associate QC, focusing on non-conformance investigations, regulatory inspections, and analytical testing methodologies. At Megazyme International Ireland, Catherine was involved in gene expression studies, protein characterization, and method validation, alongside training laboratory personnel. Currently serving as a Senior Validation Engineer at Amgen, Catherine specializes in equipment qualification and the generation of validation documentation. Catherine holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Validation Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, both from Technological University Dublin, with the latter earned with First Class honors.
