David Bauer

David Bauer is an Executive Director at Amgen, leading Research in the areas of Discovery Chemistry and Externalization since November 2003. His career includes roles as Director of Research overseeing Medicinal Chemistry outsourcing and Discovery Scale-Up, and Principal Scientist managing internal custom synthesis efforts. David also served as Group Leader for the custom synthesis group, providing significant scale-up support for Medicinal Chemistry programs. Prior to Amgen, David was a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania under the guidance of Prof. Amos B. David holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a Master's degree in the same field from ESPCI Paris - PSL.
