David Simon is currently a Principal Data Scientist at Amgen, where they apply their expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization to drive business value. David previously served as a Sr. Data Scientist at Amgen and a Research Data Scientist at Wayspring, developing explainable machine learning models and managing large-scale healthcare data. They completed a PhD in Neuroscience at Vanderbilt University, focusing on audiovisual integration and human decision-making, while also gaining experience as a researcher and educator. David is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at the University of California, Davis.
