Fernando Rivera

Fernando Rivera is currently a Process Development Principal Scientist at Amgen, where they have been employed since 2021. They previously served as a Senior Engineering Specialist at Medtronic from 2019 to 2021, and as an Engineering Specialist from 2015 to 2019. Fernando began their engineering career at Medtronic Spine & Biologics as a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant from 2012 to 2013, following their involvement with the Minibaja Racing Team at the University of Puerto Rico Mayaguetz Campus. They hold a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico, as well as a Bachelor's degree and a certification in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from UPR-Mayagüez, which they completed in 2012.
