James Hester, PhD, DABT, is a board-certified toxicologist with extensive experience in nonclinical study design and interpretation. They have worked as a Study Director at Labcorp Drug Development and a Scientist at Horizon, and they currently serve as the Principal Scientist for Nonclinical Safety at Amgen. Previously, Hester held various positions, including Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Indiana University School of Medicine and Lab Technician roles at the University of Kentucky. Hester earned a Ph.D. in Integrative and Biomedical Physiology from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Kentucky.
