Jamie Rosner

Jamie Rosner has extensive experience in bioinformatics and technical product management, having held key roles at various organizations including Amgen, Compute Canada, and The University of British Columbia. At Amgen, Jamie served as a Technical Product Manager and Principal IS Business Systems Analyst, leading the Omics Product Team to develop informatics strategies and support R&D efforts in drug discovery. Jamie also contributed to the bioinformatics community as Chair of the Bioinformatics National Team at Compute Canada, optimizing computational resources and tools. Previous positions include Scientific Analyst and Senior Bioinformatician at The University of British Columbia and BC Cancer Research Centre, where Jamie focused on high-throughput data analysis and workflow automation for next-generation sequencing data. Jamie's career began as a Bioinformatician at Vancouver Prostate Centre, complemented by early work as a Research Scientist at Tactex Controls Inc. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree with Honours in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
